Lately we have been hearing the term trauma bonding and many mistake it as passion and love, but it is very toxic!

So what is it exactly? Trauma Bonding is occurs as a result of a vicious cycle of abuse with intermittent and reinforcement of reward and punishment that creates an emotional bond that is resistance to change.

Here are five signs that you are trauma bonding.

Making excuses for their bad behavior.

A little affection from them will make your day.

There is a predator and prey dynamic.

You kind of secretly crave the drama.

You walk on eggs shells.
