Boss Couples That Are Doing the Damn Thing!
Being in business for yourself is a wonderful thing, but when you are able to run your own business and your spouse is also running along with you, that is an even better thing. Being a woman that has her own side hustle and my fiance also starting up his own as well, it was only right that I highlight some of the couples out there who are making strides. These industry money makers who are making strides with their significant others are inspirations to me.
Pastor Wayne Chaney and wife Myesha
Pastor Wayne Chaney is the senior pastor at Antioch Church in Long Beach, California. You may have seen him on the series Preachers of L.A. The church was passed down to Wayne in 2003 by his grandfather Reverend Joe Chaney. Alongside Chaney in ministry is his wife Myesha who is very diligent in empowering young women. She holds a series entitled Behind the Lipstick, which also derived from her book.
Meagan Good and Devon Franklin
We are familiar with the impact that both Megan Good and Devon Franklin have accomplished as individuals, but when you bring two powerful individuals together as one, you get an amazing package! This phenomenal couple are an inspiration to both singles and couples who are choosing to wait until marriage to have sex. In their book The Wait they give sound advice on to be strong in your wait, because it is not easy, but is doable with faith, patience, and the accountability of both parties in the relationship.
Steve and Marjorie Harvey
They are both iconic in their own right! Steve Harvey, and his comedic self, never stops working. From his radio show to Family Feud to Little Big Shots, Steve’s hosting and lovable personality has taken him to greater heights then he has probably ever imagined. And then there is his diamond, Marjorie, who we all know is very fashionable, but who is also a boss! She runs an online blog called The Lady Loves Couture and she is getting ready to launch Majorie’s Closet where all her fans can dress like her. Yeah, Steve has himself a ‘bad b—-h’.
