Boxer extraordinaire, Rock Blackwell, attends All Star Weekend, prepares for upcoming Feb 28 fight

Back in November I had the pleasure of interviewing Baltimore based boxer, Rock Blackwell. Since the November 2014 interview, Blackwell recently attended the NBA All-Star Weekend in New York where he not only walked the red carpet and interviewed with over 50 sports and NBA press, but he also was able to attend a platform of several memorable events. Some of them included Touching Life Gala, Revolt TV “Above the Rim”, Trent Tucker Celebrity Bowling Game, and The NBA All-Star game. He also made appearances on the Donna Drake Show and was a celebrity guest with French Montana at Stage 48.

“All-Star weekend was amazing!” Blackwell stated. “Traffic was insane in Manhattan, but over all a lot was accomplished. We barely slept, we was always working. It was a very productive weekend.”

Up next for the rising boxer is preparing for his February 28 fight against Espinoza. He has been working extremely hard in training camp to get ready for it.

“This year is going to be an awesome year! TV fights, championships, appearances, and more. God is blessing me tremendously!” Blackwell said.
