Femininistry

By Deyanna Denyse / November 4, 2020 / SELF-AWARENESS, SEXUALITY / 0 Comments

It’s bigger than me.

The way the body is seen in this country is filled with negativity.

The feminine dimension is near non-existent and any representation of liberation of any kind is dismissed and shamed.

Look into this history as an artist or historian, when researching its origin, pages of diversity is missing.

Walk into a museum, what do you see?

No one that looks like me.

Standing in stone or molded with clay, the diversity is scarce; although, changing by the day.

Yes, it’s deemed “taboo” or “unladylike” or what have you; but, have you ever thought of who created this programming and what were “they” trying to suppress?

What belief caged the Feminine and why were they soooo pressed?

It’s bigger than me.

Only choosing to be the example, you see?

I’m sadden when shamed cuz I do it for women, especially those that look the same.

Anyway, I hope you hear as I speak clearly.

Two point were made: diversity and femininity.

So, before you fix you mouth to project what my intentions may be, look beneath the surface and learn some history.

Sending love as I am.

Changing paradigms when I can.

Nudity is arts purest form yet so controversial; however, basking in its glory is cosmic, universal.

My journey is for the greater good, and being misunderstood is the least of my worries.

Protected by negative thoughts and projections, at the end of the day, we are all reflections.

What you see in me exist in you; so when judging, know you’re being judged too.”
