Haters: Who They Are and How They Can Make You Stronger
A true “hater” is someone who doesn’t want to see others succeed, and has that “crabs in a barrel” mentality to try and put others down because of their own insecurities. This person refuses to acknowledge the accomplishments of others and wants other people to be miserable. This person intentionally tries to find flaws in others, while completely overlooking their good qualities. Most people know someone who always has something negative to say about other people, you know- that one person who goes out of their way to make rude and unnecessary comments about people- whether he/she knows them or not.
The more successful you are, the more haters you should have. The more you have going for yourself, the more some people are going to want to drag you down- that’s just how it is. Like Katt Williams said, “If you have someone hating on you right now you better think of how to get five more people hating by Christmas. You need haters to make you stronger..without haters most people wouldn’t try to become better. Just tell them you just hate me because you can’t be me.”
Always remember, there is a difference between being honest, and just being a hater, and it’s a very thin line. A person has the right to express his or her opinion about a person and be honest about their feelings, but when they start to make comments that are irrelevant and uncalled for, they are considered haters. For example, calling someone out of their name is the main tactic a hater may use to express their thoughts.
Now, a reverse psychology effect is used to turn a negative situation into something that can result in a positive outcome. As a result, it is seen as a good thing to have haters because it means that you must be doing something right for people to even have your name in their mouths. This strategy is used as a motivational tool to help people deal with difficult, negative people since there are people out on the other side of the book, we have those people think EVERYONE is a hater because they don’t see the world through their eyes. This isn’t using the strategy properly; it’s just being delusional.
Have you ever met someone so obnoxious and conceited that they think everyone is a hater and jealous of them because they think they have so much going for themselves? Right, delusional at it’s best. As stated earlier, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. That does not mean that everyone who doesn’t agree with your opinion or your views on a subject are haters. Not everyone is going to like the way you or someone looks, acts, etc. Let’s face it, you cannot please everyone; nor should you even waste your time trying because everyone has preferences.
So whenever you come across a hater, think about this, “Who would waste their time talking about someone who wasn’t worth talking about to begin with”
