
HBO MAX HOSTED NATIONWIDE DATE NIGHT TO CELEBRATE PREMIERE OF LOVE LIFE SEASON 2
The network teamed up with dating app BLK and events platform Black Restaurant Week to celebrate love at 8 Black-owned restaurants in New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Detroit
From Tuesday, October 26th – Friday 29th, 2021, HBO Max invited fans to celebrate the season 2 premiere of “Love Life” with a four-day series of romantic evenings at eight Black-owned restaurants in New York, Los Angeles, Detroit, and Atlanta.
Fans made over 150 reservations and enjoyed flavors from the American South, Caribbean islands, and more. For fans who were not able to attend in person, BLK shared chef Christina Stanco of Central Kitchen + Bar’s bolognese and The Lover cocktail on their blog for newly matched couples to prepare together at home.
Restaurant partners included BLVD Bistro and Negril BK in New York; Alta Adams and Post and Beam in Los Angeles; Central Kitchen + Bar, Ivy Kitchen + Cocktails, and Good Times On The Ave in Detroit; and Negril ATL in Atlanta.
Each location included customized food and cocktail menus inspired by characters and events in the series, “Love Life” and BLK branded conversation cards with creative prompts, themed place settings, and a “Love Life” neon sign for Insta-worthy photo opportunities.

About Love Life Season Two
Season two focuses on Marcus Watkins (Emmy ® nominee and executive producer William Jackson Harper). After his marriage unexpectedly implodes, Marcus is forced to rebuild his life brick by brick, hoping to find a love that will last, once and for all.
In addition to Harper, season two also stars series regulars Jessica Williams, Punkie Johnson and Chris “Comedian CP” Powell; recurring guest stars Arian Moayed, Leslie Bibb and John Earl Jelks; and guest stars Maya Kazan, Ego Nwodim, Kimberly Elise, Blair Underwood, Janet Hubert, Jordan Rock and Steven Boyer. Keith David narrates. Season one’s Anna Kendrick, who also executive produces, Zoë Chao, Peter Vack, Sasha Compére and Nick Thune will appear in season two.
LOVE LIFE season two is co-show run by creator Sam Boyd, Bridget Bedard and Rachelle Williams. Boyd, Bedard and Williams serve as executive producers with Anna Kendrick, William Jackson Harper, Paul Feig and Dan Magnante. LOVE LIFE is produced by Lionsgate Television and Feigco Entertainment.
