How to Overcome Fear of Dating Again

Things are going to open this summer and many are READY because they’ve been sick of being in the house and are ready to meet some people and have some fun. You may be one of the ones who has been single for awhile and want to meet Mr/Ms Right, but you’re terrified of getting back out there. Many have a fear of dating for several reasons, but there really isn’t anything to worry about it.

Here are four tips on how to overcome the fear of dating:

Decide that you are ready. Make those baby steps like downloading a dating app, going out, etc.

1. Have some talking points ready. This allows you to find out simple things about the other person and helps you to get out of your head.
2. Get your flirt on and keep it light. You don’t need to get to any HEAVY questions on the first date. Just have fun.
3. Be authentically YOU! Allow the person to like you as you. Don’t try to fake it to impress.
