Join Macy’s in Discussion with Jurnee Smollet-Bell x Monica in Celebration of Black History Month
During the Civil Rights Movement we has Martin Luther King, Jr., Rosa Parks, and Malcom X (just to name a few) that were instrumental in change within our community. Today, millennials are the ones that can create change within our community. Macy’s is paying tribute to Black History Month with a special tribute to rising icons in African American culture.
On Thursday, February 18, join us “In Conversation” with actress Jurnee Smollet-Bell and singer Monica for an entertaining look at the next wave of African American cultural luminaries and taste makers in honor of celebrating Black History Month! The event will be held at Macy’s Baldwin Hills in Los Angeles at the Crenshaw Plaza.
After the discussion feel free to stay afterwards to mingle and network at the special reception. Also, if you make any $25 purchase during an event you will get the chance of meeting both Jurnee and Monica, snap a photo with them, and receive a copy of Monica’s album Code Red.
