Kelly Rowland chats on Caress, coming into motherhood, and the 2014 VMAs

Growing up and being an avid fan of the 90s R&B group Destiny’s Child, I have always been inspired by the positive vibes that Kelly, Beyonce, former members Latoya and Lativa, and then later addition to the group Michelle, put out.

Now fast forward to the present as an accomplished writer and journalist, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to interview Kelly Rowland, along with a few other reporters including a correspondent from E! News.

During the intimate setting at the chanteuse’s hotel suite, she chatted with us about her new campaign with Caress Fabulista, 2014 VMA plans, her top beauty must-haves, and of course her excitement of coming into motherhood.

As a new expectant mother, along with the excitement also comes a bit of nervousness, but with a strong support system it makes the life changing transition much easier. Rowland discussed how other women, both strangers and friends, have been very supportive in offering great advice during her first pregnancy. Her husband has also been a strong support system as well.

“He’s so hands on and very supportive. I’m very blessed to have him,” she explained.
