For a Monday night the streets of Sunset Boulevard throughout Hollywood and West Hollywood were busier than usual. You would have thought it was a Wednesday or Thursday night by how live the city was.
The liveliness was all for a good cause though at the world famous Whisky a Go-Go where I.C.O.N. Products was hosting it’s first annual Cure Rocks benefit concert. The concert was held on Monday, October 12 and featured Los Angeles based musicians Lita Ford, Patrick Kennison, Taylor-Ann Hasselhoff, Tess Henley, Marty McIntosh and Jourdain LaFleur. Other performers included the bands Tomorrows Bad Seeds and All-4-One.
Throughout the evening, Courtney Sixx did a phenomenal job of hosting and announcing each performer to the stage with a brief introduction of who they were and their accomplishments. To make the night unique, each act that performed were of a different genre, which kept the show diverse. The showcase features music from the genres of Alternative Country, EDM, Reggae-Pop, legendary rock, and R&B. Take a look at the acts in a few short video clips above. In addition to the concert, there was also a raffle where guests won I.C.O.N. gift baskets, a guitar, and more.
The night was definitely one that can be added to the books of successful, entertaining, and diverse events.
Every dollar that was raised will go towards funding research grants to benefit STOP CANCER through I.C.O.N.’s “Cure For A Cause”.
