Mystery and Stigma of a Spiritual Awakening
Each of us are on a unique journey; a personal path of enlightenment and spiritual awakening of our soul’s identity and purpose. Spiritual awakening is defined as the consciousness waking up to itself as i’s true identity and waking up out of a dream like state of who the world has told us we are.
Along our life path we come face to face with who we were, who we authentically are, and who we are to become. Another form of awakening is Kundalini. It is explained as life force energy, a divine connection to oneself, creation, and the creator. Described as a circular coil of energy coiled at the base of the spine, the Kundalini awakening causes a mass of powerful energy to travel from the spine to the top of the head, activating the brain in a supernatural way and causing a higher state of consciousness and energy vibration.
As the energy moves upward it effects our physical, emotional, and mental health. It is known as a deeper journey of connecting with oneself. This shift is often mistaken for depression or signs of mental illness, not every experience is the same. It’s believed to be brought on by meditation, yoga, engaging with the chakras (alignment of energy); or something more common such as pain, a deep loss, or trauma can trigger it.
There is still a stigma with spirituality vs. science. The mysteries of the soul are being treated with medication and religion instead of progressive thinking and a higher understanding. The process of spiritual or a kundalini awakening can take years to fully complete itself.
The transformation causes us to face our traumas, mistakes, grief, and pain; and to reflect and learn life lessons giving us a deeper insight to ourselves, our gifts, purpose, and the ability to help others on their path to healing and enlightenment.
There’s nothing to fear, but so much to gain, learn, and explore. Revelations are locked within yourself and mind that only your soul has the key to. Freedom is found in the experience of an awakening.
