Nupol Kiazolu Proves That Being An Activist Has No Age Requirement

As Aaliyah said back in the mid-90s, ‘Age A’int Nothing But a Number’, which is all too true when it comes to changing the community.

Nupol Kiazolu has been making the headlines as one of the youngest activist that is out there promoting change and getting things done. At the age of 18, she is  head of the Youth Coalition for Black Lives Matter Greater New York. She’s been an activist since the age of 13 and is currently a senior in high school. She is also the founder of the Vote 2000 campaign.

“As an activist dedicated to empowering young people of color, I truly believe that registering to vote is one of the most important things you can do to make your voice heard. Now’s our time,” Kiazolu stated.

We recently caught up with the teen where she chatted about her experience protesting in Charlottesville, as well as to why she chooses to fight for the rights of our people.
