Poetry Corner: Black Girls Rock
Black girls go back before the hands of the tick tock yea the first in human existence no shock
Beautifully colored designed with limitless shades all the more to bare the beautiful pain
Disrespected & molested before and after reaching the slave block even master knew that’s why he snuck in leaving them afraid
The original creator of life baring the blessing of existence that can’t be un-made no matter how hard they try your color won’t fade
Subject of many horrific, brutal rapes apple of every man’s eye without you we couldn’t survive
How could you not look the black woman in the face and be amazed thinking of you free’s the bird from his cage
Don’t say it with rage Black Girls Rock
