Poetry Corner: Defamation of Black
It’s all fun and games until your life becomes modern warfare,
Step over or cross that line don’t you dare,
It’s so easy once you wake up and stop being apart of the unknown.
One day we’ll make them pay and wish they would have left us alone.
I guess what do I really know it’s not like you care,
I’m not wrong I rant while in my zone.
I speak the truth about inequality let alone getting treated fair,
About me I’m passionate you’ll have to excuse my tone.
When it’s over close your mouth and please don’t stare,
These lies and propaganda games are far outgrown.
Push the generation onward,
Nobody is free until we’re all free.
