Poetry Corner: Freedom Killing

We walk, we talk, we drive, and don’t jive any excuse.

We won’t take it,

Can we be for real,

Stop all these false accusations.

The law rewards mass shooters our Caucasian counter parts with life and McDonalds,

But for the color of our skin,

We get killed no hesitation.

Zimmerman brought it back to the forefront to suffice,

We started #blacklivesmatter for affirmation,

And now he’s selling autographed skittles solicitation.

The first thing they do is tell us stop telling and killing,

But the real mass murder is cop killing,

What about the parents and families of our loved ones lives taking for,

That it’s no explanation.
