Poetry Corner: If This Shall Be Permanent

After several failed relationships, some people feel like giving up, so they just decide to live for them and not worry about relationships, which of course isn’t a bad thing at all.

After being approached by different “potentials” thinking that, “OH he has to be the one. He’s just different, “That frame of thinking gets turned upside down and proven wrong….

So now you’re back to square one…the beginning…It feels like,

“Dang, maybe I’m not meant to be in a relationship.” Every guy that seems like they were a potential either turned out to be a player, in a relationship or they just weren’t up to speed and needed to work on being the MAN that they needed to be..

But then it seems like out of the blue, a Mr.Right for sure could be finally appearing, but because of past relationships and “potentials” I start to be kind of optical about the situation….I mean this time this one truly is different, like I except him to be of the norm, but each time he proves me wrong…

He’s not only a gentleman around me, but around those close to me, well at least those that he has met so far…He keeps his word,And remembers little facts, like my what I’m majoring in…Yes he does have his flaws too, but he seems to have more positive attributes than negative ones,

I’m just careful not to say or do anything that can possibly frighten or scarce the relationship of becoming something more in the future…Constantly looking and going with God’s guidance because If this Shall Be Permanent then God won’t lead me astray…
