Poetry Corner: Land Of The Free

The builders and backbone of this horrific nation,

Feeling this new trend of discrimination.

Often scrutinized and criminalized,

To alter the non-racist and less fortunate  public perception.

A President’s promise to construct a wall after changes to immigration laws,

Committing morale fraud and deception.

We call it border wars,

But who worked in your casinos and hotels doing all the chores,

Destroying changes from beloved 44 progress,

Gone for us to see no more tactics of race dissection and elimination.
