Poetry Corner: Revenge of the Conscious

I ask that you respect my mindset,

Every thought I have is deep and should be considered a threat.

You miseducated and physically enslaved my ancestors,

Throwing us hundreds of years off pace.

Not the most talkative by far,

Not the most organized,

But I can guarantee a hard work ethic and greatest leader you’ve ever met.

Tactics aligned with Malcolm X & Huey Newton,

By any means necessary,

Oppressors disappearing without a trace like cold case.
