Poetry Corner: Sleeping Millennial

I’m sorry for everything I haven’t done and made you regret your existence I caused this,

I put myself to high up on a pedestal and stopped putting in necessary footwork.

I’m a useless waste of time and space that just annoys you I’m probably doing you a favor,

I feel like I’m just a distraction for you and you’re not happy and

I Love You enough to let you go and grow.

I wish you all the best with school, work, the family, and everything maybe one day you’ll tell me all about it,

But be happy never stop being you and pursuing everything you want to be and want out of life,

It’s a beautiful thing once you find your perspective on it.

You’ll become that great architect, engineer, entrepreneur, and dreamer you have it all in you!
