Poetry Corner: The Miseducation of X

My initial downfall I thought I knew it all,

Only reading what was between the text.

Never asking to see facts,

That would have backed their false statements.

Now I get up with open mindness,

And plan to learn with always knowing what’s next.

I share all my pain and stories,

Accepting my wrong doings and lessons with no resentments.
