Poetry Corner: The One I Can’t Lose

You’re like a fire the world can’t tame you put every other to shame you give me a feeling I can’t shake it’s impossible to not envision the love we could make.

The energy is intoxicating every second you’re away my soul aches I feel alone anxiously awaiting, anticipating the nervousness fading every emotion is one they couldn’t teach.

Our hearts are open intertwined so sublime it’s divine speaking a silent language which only love can distinguish as we’re filled with anguish never to break because your happiness I cannot take.

Together forever never to forsake our ties held above all others so pure you set me free raised up like a dove to fly side by side it’s unbelievable the heights we could reach.
