Why we born into families that simply refuse, to love unconditional and that’s when we lose, all the things that would light us up…keep from singing the blues…only find that support and light from the family we choose?

Why when we see someone from “the hood” win, We want to pull em’ back in the barrel again…hanging out with the other crabs…dreams born, now dead….laying cold on steel slabs, why can’t we just be a friend?

Why when hurtful things in life disturb our mental, only reading and writing seem fundamental? Kindness is bypassed, it certainly does not last; need a lesson in compassion and we need it hella fast.

Why we slingin’ product in these streets; treatin’ other’s lives as if they’re cheap? Death, we cannot cheat…Russian roulette, we can’t compete; we should be lookin’ out for ourselves and one another, for we all are the keepers of our brother.

Why we give our hearts to someone who don’t know how to use em’? We give everything we have, and they simply abuse em’. Maybe one day, one will come along with no games to play, loved so deep makes you wanna run… I wish you’d stay. Hang in there and fight through the thick and the thin, let’s hold each other down and collect the win.

Why are we content to live in functional dysfunction instead of allowing our hearts and minds to properly function? Our talent runs real deep, I think ya’ll be forgetting, we are the cat’s meow, so let’s get to steppin ’….we all have a “blue print” and those dots need connecting.

Why am I lookin’ down at my watch, just checkin the time…all these crazy thoughts runnin’ circles in my mind. All the things that I talk about are not just suggestions. I’m still waiting for someone out there to answer all my…questions.
