Summer is here once again and it’s time to get into gear in planning those vacations, road trips, and family trips. Whether you’re a laid-back, go with the flow type of person or strategic planner, this ultimate summer guide will give you a few ideas to add to your summer planning regime.
Park concerts. Concerts in the park can usually be found in just about every major city, from Atlanta, New Orleans, Los Angeles, etc. They are also family friendly and are FREE! So for those on a budget, but still want to have some fun, take the kids, and eat, drink, and be merry without breaking the bank, check out your local city listings to see where and when your park concerts are held. Most are held in the evenings in the middle of the week.
Road Trips.Road trips are perfect to get in bonding time. Whether you go with your girls, your boys, family, your boo, or other couples, being in a car and seeing new sights with close loved ones makes the bonding process stronger. They are also not too expensive depending on where and how far you go. You can plan a turn around trip or a weekend getaway. Just gather up you tunes, pack your bag, and hit the road!
Summer Block Party. There a’int nothing like a fun, summer block party. Plan one or go to one. This is perfect to meet new people, especially the singles that are looking for a potential partner. A good block party consists of BBQ, non-stop tunes, great food, and drinks, drinks, and more drinks! Can we say turn up.
Roof top pool parties.If you live in major cities like Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, or Chicago, then you know all about roof top parties. There’s nothing better than chillin’ in the pool on a roof top at night while catching a glimpse of the city’s skyline’s reflecting off the moonlight.
Amusement Parks. Of course amusement parks are always a must do in the summer. For the more adventurous person, you must try out that new roller coaster that you’ve been dying to get on during your summer vacation.
