Wake Up

“They” call 911 because you fell asleep in a common area, leave it up to them, they’ll cause mass hysteria. You had to show ID to prove that you belong, it just looks like they’re singing that same ole song.

Starbucks,  two men were seated….their meeting never completed, thought they could use the restroom no not without ordering food — now that seems rude!  But you’re NOT wanted here….can’t you see this space is no place for those of a difference race?! They change the rules every single day, for these are…the games they play.

BBQ at the park, glad it’s not after dark…so that we could clearly see how my people are harassed continuously. They don’t want to share “their” space, it’s written all over their face. They might as well post “whites only” signs, it’s what they want you to know each and every time. They call the police, they’re modern day klansman, YOU are breaking the law according to their tailspin. It’s time for you to realize that their hatred has no end!

What once was your neighborhood is nothing but a memory,  they drive up the cost of living they’ve been doing it for centuries. They won’t help you with your situation, they answer with gentrification — they want to push us far away, and in the dark is where they hope you’ll stay.

“I was in fear for my life”, it’s their battle cry, they’re armed with guns, ready to shoot and watch you die —in front of your family and your friends, tell me when will this madness end? Defense, oh there is none needed — I was “Standing My Ground”, mission completed.

My people, it’s time for you to WAKE UP and boost your awareness.  Quit looking for them to treat YOU with fairness. When they put US on boats and brought us over here, it became quite clear….we were nothing but property, not considered a peer.  The laws that were written are for them, not for YOU — somewhere deep down you know this rings true. So wipe the sleep out your eyes and pay attention, and let’s get it together for the next generation.
